1. Definitions

1.1. For the purposes of these Terms of Use:

• SOFYA: real-time clinical reasoning platform developed to optimize evidence-based medical decision-making
• USER: health professional or health institution using the platform
• DATA: all information entered or processed through the platform
• EHR: Electronic Health Record
• PATIENT: natural person present in a medical or outpatient office who receives medical care.

2. Purpose

2.1. These Terms of Use govern the use of the Sofya platform and its related services, including:

• Real-time transcription of consultations
• Customized data structuring
• Integration with EHR systems
• Clinical data processing

3. Features

3.1. Real-time transcription

• The platform captures and transcribes text, voice and images during consultations
• The USER is responsible for obtaining the PATIENT's consent for recording

3.2. Data structuring

• Data is converted into structured records
• Structuring is customized to the needs of the clinic/institution
• Workflows are automated according to established standards

3.3. EHR integration

• Integration occurs through standards such as HL7 FHIR and OHDSI
• International medical terminologies are used (SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm)
• The USER must ensure the compatibility of its systems

4. Data protection

4.1. The platform observes:

• Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
• Other applicable international legislation
• Health information security standards

4.2. The USER undertakes to:

• Obtain and store PATIENTS' consent for the processing of their data
• Keep accessed information confidential
• Use data only for care purposes
• Report security incidents immediately

5. Responsibilities

5.1. SOFYA is responsible for:

• Keeping the platform running
• Ensuring the security of processed data
• Performing necessary updates and maintenance
• Providing technical support

5.2. The USER is responsible for:

• Using the platform in accordance with applicable law
• Keeping access credentials confidential
• Ensuring the accuracy of data entered
• Using the platform only for professional purposes directly related to its business

6. Intellectual property

• 6.1. All intellectual property rights in the Sofya platform are reserved
• 6.2. Reverse engineering or copying of the software is prohibited
• 6.3. The USER holds rights over the data entered, respecting PATIENTS' privacy

7. Changes and term

• 7.1. These terms may be changed with prior notice
• 7.2. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the changes
• 7.3. The USER may stop using the platform at any time, subject to existing contractual obligations

8. Final provisions

• 8.1. Technical support is available through the platform's official channels
• 8.2. Matters not covered will be resolved by Sofya's management
• 8.3. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil
